We will be presenting Olivier Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time, doubtlessly one of the most important musical achievements of the twentieth century. Written during Messiaen's confinement in a Nazi prison camp, the Quartet is an expression of the composer's unshakable faith during his contemplation of the living apocalypse of the Holocaust and the Second World War, as well as his Catholic vision of Judgement Day itself.

Performance is free and open to the public.
