Let the Dartmouth College Wind Ensemble be your guide on a tour through the marvelous musical developments of 20th- and 21st-century music for winds! Through four linked performances, DCWE conductor Matthew Marsit and his ensemble take us from early works by composers like Holst and Wagner—among the first to tap the true musical potential of the wind band—and into the subsequent century of increasingly virtuosic and varied music for wind ensemble, blending classical, jazz, pop, rock and world music.
