With an undeniable rhythm and flow in both English and Spanish, rapper D Smoke joins the Dartmouth community for a virtual conversation and meet-and-greet. Hop Special Projects Fellows Kelly Scrima and Isaiah Diaz-Mays will co-moderate a candid conversation between D Smoke and Associate Professor of Global Afro-Diaspora Studies at Michigan State University Dr. Yomaira C. Figueroa-Vásquez. This event aims to foster much needed conversations on anti-racism and allows students to engage with an artist and a scholar who have long used their careers to make an impact.

A few students will be able to ask D Smoke a question live during the event and there will be a brief meet-and-greet after (limited capacity).
