The Delaware Symphony Orchestra named the Hop's director of choral and orchestral programs among four finalists for its music director position.

"Filippo is a consummate musician, but he's also a perfect fit for our company," says Artistic Director Douglas Anderson of Ciabatti, the director of choral and orchestral programs at Dartmouth.

Ciabatti, who was appointed assistant conductor of Boston Baroque in March, and music director Martin Pearlman talk opera and Dartmouth in the Boston Musical Intelligencer.
