Biography

Stephanie Rogers is an active accompanist and recording engineer in the Boston area and northern New England.  She studied piano with Todd Crow as an undergraduate at Vassar College, then received her Master's Degree in Piano Performance from the Mannes College of Music where she studied with Peter Serkin.  She subsequently received a second graduate degree from McGill University in their prestigious Sound Recording Program.  She has performed in recital and in chamber performances in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, including many in the Boston area at WGBH's Fraser Performance Studio.  She has accompanied students at New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, Boston University and Dartmouth College.  She has coached chamber music for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and at Dartmouth. As a recording engineer she has worked with the Boston Early Music Festival, the Boston Chamber Music Society, the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival, the Springfield (Mass.) Symphony recordings for NEPM, Mistral, the Boston Philharmonic and many others.   

She has a busy teaching studio in her home in Newton, where she lives with her husband and two dogs.
