The Bregman Electronic Studio boasts high-end technology, featuring an 8-channel surround sound system, a hardware compressor, MIDI controllers, a versatile digital mixer, an array of vintage analog synthesizers, and more. As a cutting-edge recording studio, it offers a selection of condenser microphones tailored to meet the unique needs of any project.
The Warehouse is a new spatial sound lab developed by Prof. Ash Fure and designed by her close architecural collaborators stock-a-studio and TEAM. The space features a 24.2 channel Meyer speaker rig, modular furniture for flexible room configuration, and built-in DMX lighting control for maximum vibe flexibility. After two years of desgin and development, The Warehouse opened to the public and the graduate MFA community in September 2024. Read The Dartmouth's profile of the space here.
Sudikoff 006 serves as a dynamic makerspace, fully stocked with power tools, scrap materials, saws, microcontrollers, sensors, motors, soldering irons, and more—a playground for creators looking to bring their ideas to life. Whether crafting soundscapes or building physical prototypes, both spaces are brimming with the tools and tech to transform experimental ideas into tangible, one-of-a-kind creations.
We have 2 rooms designated as student workspaces. These rooms are assigned by cohort year and provide the students with a fixed location for their belongings and a more intimate space to focus on their projects.
The Music Library, Seminar Room, Attic and Kitchenette are offered as shared spaces within Hallgarten. These spaces are used daily by the cohort.
