Room Reservations

Music Department Spaces

The classrooms and rehearsal spaces listed below can be reserved by Dartmouth students for rehearsals, performances, meetings, and other music-related events, free of charge and without the need for organizational affiliation or a chart string.

All rooms have musician chairs and music stands. Rooms 003, 004, 045, and 115 have unlocked grand pianos available for student use.

Sudikoff 003: 20 musician tablet chairs, 6 musician chairs, 4 music stands, 1 grand piano

Sudikoff 004: 18 chairs, 6 music stands, 1 grand piano

Sudikoff 045: 40 chairs, 14 music stands, 2 grand pianos

  • The piano in the center is unlocked and available for practice and rehearsal, but the piano in the right corner is locked and reserved for performances and instructor use.

Sudikoff 115: 10 musician chairs, 4 music stands, 1 grand piano

Sudikoff 14335 desks, 10 musician chairs, 8 music stands

  • The piano in Sudi 143 is locked and reserved for performances and instructor use.

Reservations

To reserve a space in the Department of Music, use Virtual EMS:

  1. Select Create a Reservation. On the line labeled Hopkins Music Request, select Book Now.
  2. If this will be a recurring reservation, under Date & Time, click Recurrence and enter the days and times you will need a room.
  3. Under Locations, click Add/Remove and select Sudikoff Lab. Click Search, and all the rooms available will appear.
  4. Click on the green + button next to the room number to reserve it.
