Instrument Storage

Fall 2023

Hopkins Center Instrument Storage Requests

Storage of musical instruments for Dartmouth students is managed through the Hopkins Center.

Please note: Due to the logistics surrounding the Hopkins Center renovation, storage will only be available to students who are (1) actively participating in or auditioning for a Hop Ensemble, (2) actively enrolled in or auditioning for an Individual Instruction Program course (lessons), or (3) enrolled in a MUS 50 Performance Laboratory or another music course that requires an instrument.

To request access to Hopkins Center-managed student instrument storage in the basement of the Sudikoff Laboratory, please fill out and submit the Hopkins Center's Instrument Storage Request Form. If approved for storage access, you will receive an email from Sarah McCorkle (sarah.l.mccorkle@dartmouth.edu) with further instructions.

Storage for Campus Bands

If your student band on campus rehearses in Sudikoff, the Department of Music can give you access to a secure room where you may store amps, drum kits, and other equipment. For more information and to request a key, please email music@dartmouth.edu.
