Last Wednesday's issue of The Oak Ridger (Tennessee) featured a glowing review of Professor Sally Pinkas and her oboe-viola-piano trio, Ensemble Schumann, at the 2021-22 season opener of the Oak Ridge Civic Music Association's Chamber Music Series. After a long pandemic hiatus, Pinkas's ensemble provided a "most welcome coming out party" for the series, according to critic Becky Ball, who praised the trio's performance of Mozart's Trio in E-flat Major, K. 498, as "simply divine perfection."
