Album Release: Cuarteto Latinoamericano with Sally Pinkas, Piano

On July 7, the Urtext label released Miguel del Águila: Piano Quintets, the latest album starring Professor Sally Pinkas's piano. Joined by Cuarteto Latinoamericano, Prof. Pinkas performs three piano quintets by Uruguayan-American composer Miguel del Águila. Featured on the record is the world premiere recording of del Águila's Tamboreño, a work which was commissioned by the Hopkins Center for the Arts and which Prof. Pinkas and the Cuarteto premiered at Dartmouth in 2022.
