A dazzling, colorful trio of soloists, including pianist-in-residence Sally Pinkas, presents works by Beethoven, Bruch, Foote and White.

Heralded for creating "the most blissful sound this side of Nirvana" (Fanfare Magazine), Thomas Gallant, oboe, Steve Larson, viola, and Pinkas, piano, have been performing together since 2005. Ensemble Schumann has been featured at the prestigious Da Camera Series in Los Angeles, at the Clark Art Museum in Massachusetts and on Live From Fraser on WGBH-Radio in Boston. The ensemble's recordings on the MSR Classics label have received high praise in such publications as Gramophone, Fanfare and Audiophile Audition.
