James Fei is a composer, improviser, saxophonist, electronic musician, and educator who has closely collaborated with legends of experimental music like Alvin Lucier, Anthony Braxton, and Roscoe Mitchell, and was the chair of Mills College’s Music Department. He will perform with Reid and Bynum, a first-time performance as a trio of old friends who’ve shared the stage in many other contexts.
