[more]On Tuesday, April 18th and Wednesday, April 19th at Dartmouth Hall, puppeteer Mimmo Cuticchio and his theater association, Figli d'Arte Cuticchio, are enacting a version of the Faust Legend called La Storia del Soldato (The Story of a Soldier) using Sicilian Puppets. They are accompanied by a septet of musicians, conducted by Filippo Ciabatti, Director of Orchestral and Choral Programs, who bring Stravinsky's spare and striking score to life.

[more]This spring, for the first time since 2016, musician and composer Sandeep Das is co-teaching "Music and Dance of North India" with Professor Theodore Levin in Dartmouth's Music Department. During his residency, Das will be joined by the HUM ensemble to perform the world premiere of Delhi to Kabul at Rollins Chapel on April 20th. Delhi to Kabul is a multimedia work of song, dance and narration that celebrates Indian Classical music and its shared heritage with Afghan Klasik and poetry.
