Congratulations are due to composer and pianist Braydon Baxter '25, the recipient of the Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Education's Rick Angulo World Experience Award. Braydon, a participant in the music department's Spring 2023 foreign study program in Vienna, is cited as a student whose intellectual openness, enthusiasm and impressive academic performance embody the spirit of off-campus programs.
The award was established by the family, classmates, and friends of Rick Angulo '77, who died in 1988. Braydon is the one hundred and seventy-first student to receive this prize, and his name will be engraved on the Rick Angulo World Experience Award memorial plaque, which is displayed in the reception area of the Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Education.
